Multipurpose publishing is Scribe's publishing philosophy. It means producing a single body of content as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible for distribution in the optimal number of formats through the most profitable channels of sale. In today's publishing environment, it is imperative that the production process results in content that the publisher can repurpose inexpensively and quickly. Done correctly producing for multipurpose publishing is less expensive than for print only: it does not make sense to limit a book's production, or produce for single output.

BibleWorks

BibleWorks is a Windows-based Bible program that provides tools for analyzing Biblical text and performing research. It comes with Greek, Hebrew, and Septuagint Bibles for your computer, as well as translations in English, German, Spanish, and many other languages.

Scribe has provided OCR materials and data conversion work for the language-rich application for books in an assortment of languages, such as Metzger's "A Textual Commentary of the Greek New Testament" and Holladay's "Hebrew and Aramaic Lexicon of the Old Testament (HALOT)."

Pradis

Pradis opens up the vast Zondervan library to your computer. Offering unlimited Bible translations or reference books, you can search your entire library in the way that makes the most sense to you: by topic, verse, word, or phrase.

Scribe has helped upgrade the Zondervan library to the current version of Pradis and has prepared many titles for Pradis, including data conversion and proofreading of Greek and Hebrew.

Interior

Scribe's design services cover the entire range of needs. Included in our services is interior book design. Scribe will work with you to create a visually appealing, though efficient, interior design that helps you to best convey your information. Our interior designs are considerate of the audience as well as the printing budgets of our clients. Thus, they achieve form and function. Our design methodology also ensures that your content maintains its well-formed structure.

SGML

SGML, or Standard Generalized Markup Language, is the parent of many markup languages. SGML was originally designed to enable machine-readable text to be used across large enterprises. It is rigorous enough to allow the tagging of complex documents, while flexible enough to allow for multitudes of use. Since its inception, Scribe has developed tools that are based in SGML. While others are overwhelmed by the complexity of SGML, Scribe fully understands its use and value.

Libronix

The Libronix Digital Library System is based on the flexibility of XML and strives to keep pace with the continual evolution of technology. The primary focus of Libronix is on religious and reference materials and the Digital Library System is specialized for multilingual texts.
