Content Development

Clients who have the long-range view of publishing in mind tend to shift their focus from individual titles to groups or series of titles. Whether an individual or a publishing house is interested in developing the capacity to conceptualize and produce more than one book, Scribe has the creative ability and technical know-how to change dreams into reality.

• Author Development—For the author who wants to develop as a writer, we offer a one-on-one program to evaluate where the author's strengths and weaknesses lie, to work on what is required to overcome any deficiencies, and to provide critical feedback that will facilitate the metamorphosis from rough-cut to polished writer.
• Project Development—As with writer's block, sometimes the idea well goes dry for clients. When we collaborate with clients on project development, we work with them to develope viable book and series ideas. We sketch out the essence of a book or series proposal, and help them find authors to produce the books envisioned for the series.
