Barnes and Noble Nook

Barnes and Noble has developed the Nook a dedicated reader used to access publications sold through BandN.com. The Nook is an advanced reader that is connected to the Web using a 3G wireless protocol. It also automatically detects Wi-Fi hotspots -- either the free Wi-Fi in all Barnes & Noble stores or any pre-configured hotspots -- and will switch to use Wi-Fi's faster connection.   These connections make the Nook the easiest device for downloading books and periodicals

The Nook uses ePub format for its books, with a user-friendly (and easily shared) Digital Rights Management feature. Scribe can prepare your publication in an optimized fashion for the Nook.
