Biblical Archaeology Society

The Biblical Archaeology Society is a nonprofit, nondenominational, educational organization dedicated to the dissemination of information about archaeology in the Bible lands. The Biblical Archaeology Society educates the public about archaeology and the Bible through the publication of Biblical Archaeology Review, Bible Review, Archaeology Odyssey, several books, and visual materials. They are known to supply their readers the latest that scholarship has to offer in a fair and accessible manner. BAS serves as an important authority and as an invaluable source of reliable information.

About the Work

Scribe has produced Biblical Archaeology Society (BAS) electronic publications of Biblical World in Pictures, The Biblical Archaeology Review CD-ROM Archive, Archaeology Odyssey and Bible Review in Libronix format. In that capacity, we have converted and marked up over 10,000 images and 200 magazines and books for electronic publication.

Scribe has also redesigned BAS's Web site and trained BAS staff to maintain the newly implemented site. Scribe released the BAS Online Archive, a subscription based Web product for institutional based learning. This was followed by a second printing of the Biblical World in Pictures, which recently had its third printing.

Please watch for future BAS products.
